Broken Heart no more.

I have a 6 month old. Almost.

Her name is Aevelyn and she's incredible. at only 6 months old (almost) she's rolling back to front and front to back, crawling, sitting on her own and going from belly to a sitting to position and oh yeah... pulling to stand... did I mention she's 6 months old.. almost?

I can feel the grey hair growing...

Aevelyn was born on May 22nd 2015, at 38 weeks. I labored at home for many hours after my water had broken on its own, when labor wasn't progressing we thought it would be best to head to the hospital since I had a very high risk pregnancy and didn't want to risk infection or any other complication. my labor completely stopped and after 29 hours of nothing they gave me a tiny dose of pitocin to jump start labor. Four hours later here comes Aevelyn. From 2cm to 10cm to birth in 4 hours.

Don't get me wrong.. I'm used to advanced babies.. Damien was advanced. He walked by 8 months. but he never crawled properly and didnt sit on his own until much older than this. I blame the breast milk. I've grown a tiny super human. Thats right, we are coming up on 6 months of exclusively breastfeeding. We've come a long way from my tiny tube fed newborn. Even then she never took a bottle. She simply was fed through a tube attached to my finger for the first week of her life then we switched to a nipply shield and by 1 month we had weaned off.. it's been a difficult road as she has a posterior tongue tie. Even now we struggle. She was just diagnosed with an upper lip tie, a lower lip tie and a confirmed posterior tongue tie. So i'm damn proud to have made it this far against all the odds. My baby girl has never in her life taken a bottle. And she still hasnt started solids.

however, she's having surgery on tuesday to fix all the ties. poor baby.

and now I spam with photos and video proof that my 6 month old (almost) is doing everything i've said above!

and yes, she scares the every living hell out of me. She is way too advanced for her own good!
